The Youth in India: Situation and Needs Study was conducted to explore the needs of India’s youth and to produce the evidence necessary to design effective programs targeted at this population. The Youth Study collected data on important markers of the transition to adulthood, including education milestones, workforce participation, sexual activity, marriage, and civic participation.
